Washington Sundar Likely to Miss India vs England 3rd ODI: The third ODI at Lord’s is the series decider between India and England, with the contest currently tied 1-1. India won the first match, while the hosts took the second, and the upcoming game will settle the series. But India have received a setback ahead of the decider: Washington Sundar, who scored a fifty in the opener, has been troubled by injury.
Sundar looked injured in the second ODI as well and did not bowl, which hurt the team. India were already dealing with several injured all-rounders, and Sundar’s issue adds to the concern. According to reports, he may miss the third and deciding ODI.
India’s two other key all-rounders, Hardik Pandya and Nitish Kumar Reddy, are also sidelined. Hardik was injured during IPL 2026, while Nitish suffered a training injury during the Afghanistan series and was subsequently ruled out of the England tour.
